05 Sep Rise International Photography Awards Wedding Finalist

I recently entered two images in the Rise International Photography Awards.

Out of thousands of entries across 6 categories both of my images were awarded, which I am beyond chuffed about. My photo of Daniel and Courtney wedding was awarded a ‘Bronze Award’ and my image of Solveig and Pedro was a FINALIST (top 20 images) and was awarded a ‘Silver Award’ in the Wedding Category.

It is nerve wracking to put yourself out there for possible failure and to have your images critiqued by world class judges in a public arena, but I have found this such an incredible learning experience (few heart palpitations when my image came up for live judging).

I am so chuffed to have my photos recognised on a international stage and be awarded from top international judges and masters in photography.
