Sascha + Kieran elopement~

This is a story of love, resilience and being positive no matter what is thrown at you! When you have an amazing group of vendors behind you we will make magic happen. No matter the weather, no matter if we are in a global pandemic (in NZ we have no community outbreak so are very safe to work and be with people).

Because Kieran and Sascha are so amazing with words, I’ve asked them to write a few about their experience and why they chose to downsize their wedding to an elopement using all their same vendors:

“Covid took the control we had over a lot of the decisions we’d already made. The most significant one being our November 2020 wedding booked for 120 guests- half of which were overseas. Although it took our control, Covid could never take our intentions – and that was to leave this year married, however that looked.

When you’re a binational couple, it means half of your love will always be elsewhere and when the freedom to reacquaint yourself with the distant half is torn away from you – you have to make do with what you’ve got.

So we took the wedding we had planned and scaled it right down from 120 guests to the 5 most important in the country, brought the date forward and put love and togetherness at the centre of our plans. It was intimate, purposeful and full of emotion – both for those present and absent.

Eloping was not what we expected- but it turned out to be better than could ever have imagined,” Sascha and Kieran Wall.
