What a gorgeous elopement we had at the amazing Matakauri Lodge! This place is off the charts! Amazing food, service and 5***** views – when I win lotto I’m moving in !

Abbay (Abbay’s Escapes) and Chris had the most beautiful ceremony at the lodge with beautiful Christian readings and verses. We then went to locations with stunning views close by for photos, and then back to the lodge for an amazing 6 course meal for the wedding couple.

Elopements don’t have to be downsized, you should enjoy your day no matter how many people are there, and photography coverage doesn’t have to be short or limited!

Abbay and Chris chose to elope as their family in England and USA couldn’t get in due to border closures. During the day they both face-timed back home to keep their friends and family up to date which was really special!
